Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, technical office, and BIM activities for waste management systems and construction projects. The role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing mechanical designs, calculations, shop drawings, technical submittals, and Revit/BIM models, while ensuring compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.The candidate will coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, site teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. Key responsibilities include reviewing consultant comments, preparing MTOs and BOQs, coordinating mechanical models using Revit and Navisworks, identifying and resolving clashes, reviewing junior engineers' work, and providing technical support during installation and commissioning.The role will also involve site visits, troubleshooting, supporting NCR investigations, monitoring engineering deliverables, and ensuring that all technical work is completed accurately and within project deadlines. The successful candidate should be able to manage multiple projects, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and contribute to improving engineering processes and standards.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.7–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and technical office activities.Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior Mechanical Engineer role.Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Mechanical/BIM) – Mandatory.Good proficiency in AutoCAD – Mandatory.Strong knowledge of mechanical design and engineering calculations.Experience in preparing shop drawings, technical submittals, MTOs, and BOQs.Good understanding of relevant engineering and construction standards such as ASME, ASTM, NFPA, and SMACNA.Experience with Navisworks is preferred.BIM 360 experience is a plus.SolidWorks or Inventor experience is a plus.Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

7–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and technical office activities.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior Mechanical Engineer role.

Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Mechanical/BIM) – Mandatory.
