Job description

The Senior Metering Engineer oversees all technical aspects of electrical energy metering systems for customers and businesses across Guernsey. Their responsibilities include managing the installation, maintenance, and operation of both standard and advanced metering equipment, ensuring reliability and operational excellence. This role also involves safeguarding the accuracy of metering records, leading compliance with Health & Safety and data protection standards and investigating anomalies or potential fraud. By providing technical oversight, the engineer ensures that metering operations uphold the highest standards of safety and customer service.
