Job description
**Purpose of Position** - The senior procurement Officer manages the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing process. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that materials (for phone cases, packaging, and retail fixtures) are cost-effective, and delivered on/in time to meet CASETiFY’s aggressive launch schedules. **Job Description** - Sourcing & Vendor Management: Monitor suppliers for delivery of raw materials and finished goods. Maintain a database of reliable partners. - Purchase Order (PO) Management: Execute and track POs through an ERP system. Ensure that quantities match demand forecasts provided by the Planning team. - Inventory Control: Work closely with the warehouse and production operations teams to prevent stockouts while avoiding overstocking (which ties up cash). - Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Liaison: Coordinate with the quality team to ensure that on-site goods meet the "CASETiFY Standard" . - Market Analysis: Monitor purchase trends in raw material costs to forecast potential budget impacts. - Invoicing: To operate and monitor the deliveries. To submit invoices and bills from suppliers and monitor payments. - Financial Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchasing agreements and process improvements. - Other tasks: Perform the tasks assigned within the team. **Requirement** - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience: Usually 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the consumer electronics, fashion, or retail sectors. - Soft Skills: - - Negotiation: The ability to be "firm but fair" with suppliers. - Detail-Oriented: High accuracy in managing delivery schedules and spreadsheets. - Adaptability: CASETiFY moves fast. You need to handle last-minute changes to orders due to viral trends or new collaborations. - Technical Skills: - - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are a must). - Experience with ERP software and data (like Oracle, or tableau etc). - Languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin - Working location: Great Bay Area/Willing to travel within Great Bay Area.
