- Develop and continuously improve procurement processes, policies and best practices for the Novo Nordisk Foundation
- Act as the procurement subject matter expert and trusted advisor to stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk Foundation
- Drive contract management and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Identify and realise cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier optimisation
- Monitor procurement performance and contribute to reporting, KPIs and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Procurement Specialist supporting Novo Holdings to leverage synergies, share best practices and ensure alignment across the Procurement function
- Partner with colleagues across Novo Holdings and the Novo Nordisk Foundation to deliver efficient, compliant and value-creating procurement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of procurement experience from a senior role in an international organisation
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing and supplier management
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g. ERP systems and e-procurement platforms). Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Continia is an advantage
- Solid understanding of contract law, procurement regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken
