Job description

The global population is aging, and the need for home care is growing each year. Unfortunately, at a time when care is needed more than ever, the home care industry is facing a crisis – a shortage of care workers. At Caribou, we're on a mission to solve the caregiver crisis. When caregivers feel valued, recognized, and financially secure, they stay longer, deliver better care, and strengthen our communities. Caribou is building the engagement infrastructure for the home care workforce and the agentic layer for home care operations. Our platform interfaces with office staff and front-line caregivers to facilitate meaningful recognition, stronger relationships, and operational efficiency. Caribou was recently recognized as one of The Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies – #4 in technology – and we're just getting started. Join us as we transform how care organizations recognize and retain the people who make care possible. Role Summary Caribou is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the next generation of products supporting home care organizations, caregivers, and the people they care for. Now, we're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can take meaningful ownership of these products, deeply understand our users, and turn promising products into products that consistently deliver measurable outcomes. You're comfortable operating with ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information, and changing course as you learn Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around product decisions Genuine empathy for customers and end users and a desire to build technology that improves people's day-to-day lives Able to travel to the US on a quarterly basis Bonus points Experience building B2B2C products where both the customer and end-user experience matter Experience building products with high-frequency end-user engagement, such as workforce technology, HR tech, consumer/mobile applications, or gaming Experience with loyalty, rewards, or recognition products Experience in home care, healthcare, or workforce technology Why this role is exciting Build meaningful agentic products. You’ll solve business-critical problems for home care organizations while creating products that caregivers genuinely choose to use and return to. Own outcomes, not just features. You’ll have significant autonomy to make product decisions and will be accountable for whether the products you own achieve the outcomes they’re designed to deliver. Shape how products show up in the market. Your ownership will extend beyond what we build to how the product is positioned, branded, launched, and understood. Get incredibly close to your users. We have a highly engaged community of caregivers and customers, giving you a continuous feedback loop to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and what we should build next. Make an impact beyond the product. The products we build support home care organizations and the caregivers delivering essential care every day. Your work can help make caregivers’ jobs easier, improve their experience at work, and ultimately contribute to better care. Join us at an exciting stage of growth.
