## **Title:** Project Manager / Senior Project Manager **Department:** Engineering – Water Utility Infrastructure **Location:** Indianapolis, IN **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Compensation:** $100K – $145K (commensurate with experience) + Bonus + Benefits **Overview** Our client is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead utility infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. This role supports a wide range of water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives, with responsibilities scaled based on experience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with clients, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that serve communities. Senior-level candidates will take on broader leadership, mentoring, and strategic responsibilities.. ## ## **Key Responsibilities** - Manage and deliver utility infrastructure projects, including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. - Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals. - Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. - Monitor project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, and risk. - Ensure QA/QC compliance for all project deliverables and documentation. - Track labor utilization, revenue forecasting, billing, and documentation. - Serve as the firm’s representative at client meetings, public hearings, and presentations. - Conduct site visits and construction observations as needed. - Lead multiple utility infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. - Mentor engineers and project managers, providing technical guidance and career development support. Oversee proposals, contracts, fee justifications, and budget forecasting. ## **Qualifications** - Registered Professional Engineer (PE). - Proven track record managing drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. - Experience range: - **Project Manager**: 7+ years of relevant experience - **Senior Project Manager:** 10+ years of relevant experience - Experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. - Knowledge of utility design standards, regulations, and construction practices. - Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills. ## **Why You’ll Love This Role** - Take ownership of meaningful infrastructure projects. - Collaborate with a dynamic team while gaining mentorship from senior leaders. - Competitive benefits and career advancement opportunities.
