Senior Project Manager

Job description

Join the dynamic journey at Vynca, where we're passionate about transforming care for individuals with complex needs. We’re more than just a team; we're a close-knit community. Our shared commitment to caring for each other and those we serve is what sets us apart. Guided by our unwavering core values: Excellence, Compassion, Curiosity, and Integrity, we forge paths of success together. Join us in this transformative movement where you can contribute to making a profound difference every day. At Vynca, our mission is to provide comprehensive care for more quality days at home. **About the job** As Senior Project Manager, Strategic Implementation, you will lead the end-to-end execution of new market launches, new contract implementations, and other high-priority strategic initiatives that fuel Vynca's growth. This is a build role: you will design and implement the frameworks, governance, and tools, standing up a repeatable implementation function. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders across the organization to move initiatives from signed contract to live, revenue-generating operations. Success in this role requires equal parts structure and adaptability: the discipline of formal project management combined with the resourcefulness to operate in a fast-moving healthcare startup. **What you'll do** - Own end-to-end project management for new market entries, contract implementations or new lines of business, from kickoff through go-live and post-launch stabilization. - Build the project management function and infrastructure for the organization — including governance models, intake processes, status reporting cadences, and playbooks. - Translate signed contracts and new-market business cases into detailed implementation plans with clear milestones, dependencies, owners, and timelines. - Lead cross-functional project teams spanning operations, account management, sales, analytics, marketing, compliance, product, IT, RCM and finance, holding workstream owners accountable without direct authority. - Partner with and influence leaders at all levels of the organization, from front-line managers to the executive team, to align priorities and resolve roadblocks quickly. - Design and implement value-based care program operations, coordinating readiness across teams. - Identify risks and issues early, drive mitigation plans, and escalate proactively to leadership with clear options and recommendations. - Apply Lean and process-improvement principles to continuously simplify and scale implementation processes as the company grows. - Establish and track key implementation metrics (timeline adherence, milestone completion, launch readiness, post-launch performance) and report progress to executive leadership. - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and change-management plans to support each new market or contract launch. - Ensure all implementation activities comply with applicable healthcare regulations and payer-specific requirements. - Continuously improve the implementation playbook based on lessons learned, building institutional knowledge that makes each subsequent launch faster and lower-risk. **Your experience and qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree a plus, preferred. - Minimum of 5-8 years of project management experience, including leading complex, value-based initiatives in a health-tech start-up environment. - Demonstrated experience implementing new markets, new contracts, or new lines of business, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment. - Experience with or strong working knowledge of value-based care and value-based payment program design and operations. - Track record of building processes, structure, and tools from scratch rather than optimizing an existing, mature function. - Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align leaders at all levels of an organization. - Strong executive presence and communication skills, including comfort presenting plans, risks, and results to senior leadership. - Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities typical of an early-to-growth-stage healthcare company. - PMP certification, required. - Lean, Six Sigma, or other process-improvement certification or working knowledge, preferred. - Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and payer contracting standards, preferred. *At this time we are only considering applicants in the following states:* *California, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah and Washington.* ## **Additional Information** - The hiring process for this role may consist of applying, followed by a phone screen, online assessment(s), interview(s), an offer, and background/reference checks. - Background Screening: A background check, which may include a drug test or other health screenings depending on the role, will be required prior to employment. - Job Description Scope: This job description is not exhaustive and may include additional activities, duties, and responsibilities not listed herein. - Vaccination Requirement: Employees in patient, client, or customer-facing roles must be vaccinated against influenza. Requests for religious or medical accommodations will be considered but may not always be approved. - Employment Eligibility: Compliance with federal law requires identity and work eligibility verification using E-Verify upon hire. - Equal Opportunity Employer: At Vynca Inc., we embrace diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. We value all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, disability, genetic information, citizenship status, or membership in any other protected group under federal, state, or local law. - Environmental Conditions and Physical Requirements: Works with Vynca patients/clients remotely and/or in-person. Successfully performs the essential duties and responsibilities of the position through the use of physical activities as described below: - Regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, talking, use of hands, listening, and observing. - Regularly requires working at a computer for an entire shift (with appropriate breaks). - Regularly requires use of laptop and video-conferencing technology. - Occasionally requires reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting items weighing 25 pounds or less. - Occasional travel may be required to perform job duties, attend training, or company events.
