# Senior Project Manager
**Location:** Project-Based
**Employment Type:** Full-Time
**Travel:** Approximately 75% Travel Required
## Lead the Delivery of Hyperscale Infrastructure
Delivering mission-critical infrastructure requires exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to successfully manage complex relationships, aggressive schedules, and significant financial commitments. From project pursuits and contract negotiations through construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout, Senior Project Managers are accountable for ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with client expectations.

## Position Overview
As a **Senior Project Manager**, you will manage a phase of a large, complex hyperscale data center development or lead multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. You will be accountable for all aspects of project success, including client satisfaction, contract administration, project execution, financial performance, staffing, procurement, risk management, and overall project delivery.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key project stakeholders while leading internal teams responsible for safely executing some of the industry's most challenging mission-critical construction programs.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, business acumen, commercial awareness, communication skills, and the ability to quickly make decisions while balancing the needs of clients, project teams, and the organization.

## Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of project execution from proposal development and contract award through commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
- Manage large-scale hyperscale data center projects or major phases of complex mission-critical programs.
- Directly supervise Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other assigned project personnel.
- Develop staffing plans, project execution strategies, procurement approaches, risk mitigation plans, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure projects achieve safety, quality, profitability, schedule, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Act as the primary customer-facing representative throughout project delivery.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.

## What You'll Do
- Review project contracts, specifications, budgets, schedules, staffing requirements, and execution plans to fully understand project objectives and delivery requirements.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively communicate project status, risks, schedule impacts, commercial issues, and opportunities to clients and executive leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external contractual matters from contract award through project closeout.
- Lead contract administration efforts, including change management, claims resolution, risk mitigation, and contract compliance activities.
- Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure projects progress safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Review project status reports and adjust execution strategies, schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocations as necessary.
- Lead project review meetings, customer meetings, executive updates, subcontractor meetings, and operational planning sessions.
- Prepare and review reports for clients, executive leadership, and project stakeholders.
- Support proposal development, bid reviews, estimating activities, and RFP response efforts.
- Coordinate activities necessary to comply with customer requirements, government regulations, permits, and project-specific obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that improve operational performance, client satisfaction, forecasting accuracy, and project profitability.

## What It Takes
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and **7-10 years of related experience**, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects, major project phases, or multiple concurrent projects within mission-critical, hyperscale data center, EPC, industrial, power, or infrastructure markets.
- Demonstrated success serving as the primary client interface on complex construction projects.
- Proven ability to proactively build and maintain strong client, subcontractor, consultant, and vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, commercial negotiations, claims management, and contract compliance.
- Experience leading proposal development, bid strategy, estimating efforts, RFP responses, and project pursuits.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, procurement activities, staffing plans, and project financial performance.
- Proven leadership experience supervising Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, Project Engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of construction execution, scheduling, project controls, procurement, risk management, quality management, and project operations.
- Experience with Primavera P6, HCSS, Microsoft Project, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar project management software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP, PE, or other advanced industry certifications preferred but not required.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel approximately 75% and support long-term onsite project assignments throughout North America as required. Travel may include extended durations based on project assignments and business needs.
