- Build REST APIs, data models, migrations, and background tasks using Django & PostgreSQL with AI agents as your primary tool
- Design data pipelines processing inspection data from drone and crawler operations
- Create context documentation (CLAUDE.md files, system prompts) that makes AI agents effective in our codebase
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and ensure backend services scale with global operations
- Review and validate agent-generated code — ensure tests pass, edge cases are covered, and code is production-ready
- Help the team adopt AI-native development through shared tooling and demonstration
Requirements
Must have:
- 5+ years Python development with significant Django & PostgreSQL production experience
- Deep Django expertise: ORM, REST framework, migrations, Celery, complex queries, JSON operations
- Daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) in production work
- "Delegate, Review, Own" mentality — you hand off implementation to agents, review (not write) most code, and own outcomes
- Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, and architecture patterns
- Fluent English
Nice to have:
- GCP infrastructure experience
- AI product features (LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG)
- Wind energy, robotics, or industrial IoT background
