This specialized unit focuses on research projects that specifically survey B2B target groups, professional decision-makers, and niche business audiences (rather than only standard B2C consumer panels). You will work closely with leading global strategy and management consultancies as well as major international corporates, supporting high-stakes projects where research needs to be delivered quickly, precisely, and with a clear focus on the business question. **What you’ll be doing** - End-to-End B2B Project Lead: Manage quantitative research projects end-to-end, including B2B screening design, questionnaire drafting, platform setup, fieldwork monitoring, and data delivery. - Methodology & Study Design: Optimise bespoke study designs across core use cases (e.g., Target Group Analysis, U&A, Pricing studies, Concept Testing) mainly tailored to hard-to-reach professional audiences. - Senior Client Sparring & Advisory: Act as a trusted research partner to leading global consulting firms and major corporate clients. Work directly with experienced consultants and senior stakeholders to translate business questions into robust research approaches, advise on sample feasibility and survey methodology, and make pragmatic decisions when timelines are tight. - Commercial & Scoping Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Account Management on project scoping, feasibility checks, and methodology definition for complex project requests. - Process & Quality Enhancement: Contribute to standardizing B2B screening protocols, sampling frameworks, and best practices to coach other researcher and safeguard delivery speed and research quality across the team. **You will thrive in this role if** - You have 5+ years of experience in quantitative market research with a distinct focus on surveying B2B target groups and professional decision-makers (agency or consulting background required; pure academic or non-client backgrounds will not fit this role). - You have hands-on experience designing studies, writing questionnaires, and executing quantitative projects across core B2B use cases (e.g., U&A, Pricing studies, Concept Testing, Target Group Analysis). - You bring proven experience creating executive-ready reports and presenting complex data through clear, compelling storytelling to senior client-side stakeholders. - You possess a strategic, commercially minded approach with the self-confidence to guide clients and defend research decisions under pressure. - You excel in high-velocity environments, with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and stay calm under tight deadlines. - You are proficient in German (C2 level required) and English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. - You bring a pragmatic, proactive, and resilient mindset with a passion for data quality and innovation. **What’s in it for you?** - **Flexibility Policy** - Our flexibility policy means there is no hard cap on the number of vacation days you can take - **Temporary work from abroad -** If you're based in the EU, you can work outside your country of residence for up to 180 days per year - All the hardware you need and **your own MacBook** - If you are located in Hamburg or Berlin, you'll get a **Deutschland ticket** or access to a mobility budget with the **NAVIT app** to get you to and from the office space - Subsidised **Urban Sports Club** or **ClassPass** membership based on location - In case you’re located in one of the cities where most of our fellow Appinioneers are (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, or New York), you can get access to our **Co-working spaces** **Kind reminder:** Please ensure that your application is submitted in English. *This post not only outlines our ideal candidate but also serves as an inspiration for what this role can evolve into.
