Coins is fully regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and is the first ever crypto-based company in Asia to hold both Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer licenses from a central bank. ### What you'll do - Identify, analyze, measure, and manage all types of risk, including market, liquidity, operational, regulatory, and business continuity risk, etc. in line with BSP requirements. - Support the evaluation and implementation of business and investment strategies by providing independent risk analysis and recommendations. - Develop and maintain risk management infrastructure, including tools and processes to allocate, monitor, and report risk exposures and performance against approved strategies and market developments. - Conduct risk assessments for new products, activities, services, and processes, including change initiatives and enhancements. - Prepare regular and ad hoc risk reports, highlighting risk exposures, emerging risks, and any breaches of internal policies or external regulatory requirements. - Promote risk awareness across the organization through risk education, training, and advisory support to business and support units. - Engage with external stakeholders, including peer risk professionals and relevant risk forums, to stay aligned with industry practices. - Monitor developments in regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure the Company’s risk framework remains current and effective. ### What we expect from you - Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Accountancy, Finance, Business Management, or a related field. - At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk management (market, liquidity, operational), finance, accounting, audit, or a related function. - Strong familiarity with risk management frameworks and standards, including BSP regulations, ISO, COSO, and Basel II/III. - Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with process owners, senior management, and risk stakeholders. - Strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and anticipate potential risks and vulnerabilities. - Solid understanding of accounting systems, financial statements, ratios, and risk measurement tools, including market and liquidity risk indicators. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing guidance and support to teams during risk events or control issues. - Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize information, and produce clear, actionable risk reports. - Working knowledge of applicable BSP and banking-related regulations, particularly those relevant to non-bank financial institutions.
