Senior Social Worker – Children’s Assessment (Woking) – Permanent

• Salary of £49,464 – £52,864 per annum subject to experience

Your Key Responsibilities

• Undertake timely and high-quality assessments in line with statutory guidance.
• Build strong, relationship-based practice with children, families and partner agencies.
• Engage families using motivational approaches to understand risk and need.
• Make informed decisions on whether statutory intervention is required or step-down support is appropriate.
• Complete robust risk assessments and develop effective plans to safeguard children.

For This Role You Will Need

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, CSS or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualified social work experience.
• Completion of ASYE.
• Experience of working within UK statutory children’s services, ideally within an assessment or frontline team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
