### **The Job In Short** As a Senior SDET, you don't just find bugs; you prevent them. You act as a quality architect for a complex business domain, partnering with Product and Engineering to "shift left" and bake quality into the design. You combine deep technical expertise with mentorship, driving test automation, AI adoption, and a culture of quality ownership across your team. ### **Meet the Job** - **Drive Strategy:** Champion the "Shift Left" approach, utilizing the V-Model to map acceptance criteria to unit, integration, and regression levels. - **Automate Everything:** Build and own the test infrastructure, coding robust automation for all acceptance suites within our CI/CD pipelines. - **Innovate:** Implement AI-driven testing tools to accelerate test case generation and visual regression checks. - **Coach & Mentor:** Guide engineers on TDD/BDD practices, ensuring the entire team writes high-quality, testable code. - **Quality Gatekeeper:** Challenge requirements early to ensure they are unambiguous, complete, and fully testable before a single line of code is written. ### **How About You** - **Tech Stack:**.Senior-level proficiency in Java is mandatory, along with proficiency in at least one other language (Python or JavaScript), with the ability to code complex automation. - **Tooling Expert:** Hands-on mastery of frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and CI/CD configuration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - **Methodology:** Deep understanding of the SDLC, the V-Model, and how to define provable acceptance criteria. - **Forward-Thinking:** Experience with or a strong desire to apply AI testing techniques to modern quality challenges. - **Mindset:** A proactive collaborator who takes full ownership of domain quality and thrives on solving impediments independently.
