**Senior Software Development Engineer** ### Primary Skills - Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Storage Queues, Azure Logic Apps, Azure AKS, Azure Content Delivery Network, Azure App Service, Azure Functions ### Job requirements Experience Range: - With at least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in AI-powered healthcare solution development and Azure cloud engineering Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop AI-powered healthcare solutions leveraging large language models and Generative AI services to enhance member experiences - Build and enhance conversational healthcare assistants, implementing intelligent workflows for personalized member service journeys - Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, including semantic search, healthcare knowledge retrieval, and integration with vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources - Engineer and orchestrate AI agents for complex healthcare workflows, implementing multi-step reasoning, tool-calling patterns, and workflow automation - Enable healthcare member experience features such as provider search, facility search, symptom guidance, benefits and coverage guidance, cost estimation, claims status, and contact center escalation - Collaborate with AI architects and platform teams to implement AI Gateway integrations, LLM routing and orchestration, prompt management, transcript logging, observability, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks - Develop and optimize APIs, backend services, and chatbot interfaces, integrating AI models into web-based applications while ensuring performance, latency, and cost efficiency - Ensure AI solutions adhere to healthcare privacy requirements, implementing guardrails, monitoring, safety mechanisms, and supporting HIPAA and Responsible AI compliance **Required Skills:** - Node.js - TypeScript - Next.js - Microsoft Azure - Azure AI Services - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - Vector database integration - Semantic search - API development - LLM orchestration **Preferred Skills:** - Knowledge graph engineering - Healthcare ontology modeling - Azure Service Bus - Azure API Management - Azure Storage Queues - Azure Logic Apps - Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) - Azure Content Delivery Network - Azure App Service - Azure Functions - Advanced prompt engineering - AI evaluation frameworks - Observability tools - Workflow automation with agentic architectures **Desired Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline - Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate - Certification in Responsible AI or HIPAA healthcare data privacy
