Ryz Labs is looking for a **Senior Software Engineer** to join our startup studio and build scalable, production-ready solutions from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to work on **challenging, high-impact products**, collaborate with experienced teams, and explore how **AI is changing the way software is built** — while having real ownership over the solutions you create. This is a **long-term hybrid opportunity**, with **1 day per week at a coworking space in Palermo**. ### What You’ll Do - Design, build, and ship **scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations**. - Develop production-ready solutions using **Node.js, Python, and/or Java**. - Work on system design, databases, performance, reliability, and scalability. - Integrate **AI tools, LLM APIs, and third-party services** into real-world products and workflows. - Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to turn ideas into high-impact solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across production environments. - Contribute to technical decisions and help shape engineering best practices. ### What We’re Looking For - **5+ years of experience in backend software engineering**. - Strong experience with **Node.js, Python, and/or Java**. - Solid understanding of **APIs, databases, system design, and distributed systems**. - Experience building and maintaining **production-grade applications**. - Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to engineering. - Interest in **AI/LLM technologies** and their practical application in software products. - Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a **fast-moving startup environment**. - Excellent communication skills in **English**. ### Nice to Have - Experience working with **AI/LLM APIs or AI-powered features**. - Experience with **AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms**. - Exposure to **React, Vue, or other modern frontend frameworks**. - Experience working in a **startup or high-growth environment**. ### **About RYZ Labs** RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
