**About Teleport** Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. Be part of it. Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company. We're solving one of the hardest problems in security: giving every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity, improving engineering velocity while maintaining security. We make trusted computing simple. This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence. Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will help the sales team drive revenue growth by evangelizing our technology via demos and technical discussions. You will get to collaborate with infrastructure engineering and security teams at the most sophisticated technology companies in the world. Most importantly, you will help these companies solve problems and get exposed to the latest ideas in technology. You will partner with account executives, other solutions engineers, and other teams to understand customer challenges, design secure and scalable solutions, and guide prospects through technical evaluations and proof-of-value engagements. You have experience working with AI technologies and infrastructure (LLMs, MCP, vector databases, AI tooling), and familiarity with traditional infrastructure networking and security (Linux/Unix, Windows, VPNs, bastion hosts, etc) and modern cloud-native technologies (cloud compute, containers, IaC, etc). **What You'll Do** - Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to expand technical discovery, and map Teleport’s capabilities to customer initiatives. - Architect and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concepts that showcase Teleport’s differentiation with Zero Trust principles, handling of human and non-human identities, identity governance, and identity security. - Act as the trusted advisor to engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and security leaders. - Advise on protecting sensitive datasets and model endpoints with Teleport’s identity-based controls. - Position Teleport as a solution to eliminate API keys and static tokens in machine pipelines. - Support customers exploring AI/LLM use cases, including secure infrastructure for training and inference workloads. - Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on feature gaps and market needs. - Collaborate with Marketing on thought leadership around identity, human, non-human, and AI security. - Support channel and technology partners with technical enablement. - Help across various go-to-market activities, including marketing collateral, product positioning, customer interviews, sales cycle optimizations, traveling to conferences, brand evangelism, attending meetups, etc. - Listen deeply and perceive feedback as an opportunity to improve. - Demonstrate a high level of empathy, resilience, and humility. **What You'll Bring** - 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, DevSecOps or a highly technical customer-facing role. - Experience with using/configuring/debugging Linux machines and network issues. - Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes, including hands-on troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform - Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and securing infrastructure at scale (e.g., source control, code reviews, unit testing, agile principles). - Advanced understanding of identity security and modern Zero Trust security approaches. - Proven ability to develop scripts and automation using Linux shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code tools - Strong understanding of system architecture, provisioning, and administration - Familiarity with AI/LLM infrastructure (GPU clusters, data governance, inference workloads, ML pipelines) and associated security requirements. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues - Ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders with credibility and clarity. - Strong presentation, demo, and white-boarding skills. **Why Teleport** You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed.
