We are seeking a **Senior Mechanical Engineer** to design, develop, and refine mechanical systems and components for cutting-edge robotic products. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create reliable and high-performance robotic solutions. This role offers an opportunity to push the boundaries of robotics technology while working on projects with real-world applications. **Responsibilities** - Design and develop mechanical systems for AI robots. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components. - Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate designs. - Create engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing. - Work closely with vendors to design and develop various modules. - Perform prototype fabrication, testing, and validation to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. **Requirements** - Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation. - Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). - Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems. - Experience with FEA and other simulation tools. - Proven track record of leading projects from concept to production. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. - **Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration with the teams.** **Bonus Qualifications** - Experience with robotics, mechatronics, or automation. - Familiarity with actuators, sensors, and control systems. - Rapid prototyping techniques. - Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in robotics. **Benefits** - Competitive stock options/equity programs. - Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan. - Visa sponsorship and green card support for qualified candidates. - Lunches and dinners, a fully stocked kitchen, and regular team-building events. Compensation: Salary $160,000–$265,000 USD + Bonus + Equity The base salary range above represents the expected compensation for this full-time U.S. position. Final compensation will be determined based on role scope, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, and may fall outside the listed range in exceptional cases.
