Strategic & Inspirational Partnership: Act as a strategic business partner to clients and their teams, providing visionary thought leadership across customer experience and marketing transformation, while inspiring confidence and driving collaborative success.

Empowerment & Stakeholder Mastery: Expertly navigate and manage complex stakeholder relationships across global, matrixed environments within VML / WPP, empowering your teams to achieve seamless collaboration and delivery.

Excellence in Delivery: Champion the highest quality of deliverables, instilling a commitment to measurable business value and inspiring teams to exceed expectations.

Capability Development

Cultivate and Elevate the Capability: Provide visionary leadership in shaping and evolving the Customer & Business Strategy team’s core offerings, with a relentless focus on CX strategy, CRM, loyalty, and digital innovation, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of the industry.

Lead & Inspire Business Growth: Take decisive leadership in major new business pursuits, inspiring your team to collaboratively convert opportunities into profitable and impactful engagements.

Strategic Client Expansion: Develop and execute visionary client relationship strategies, empowering your team to proactively grow VML MAP’s footprint and deepen client partnerships.

Orchestrate Partnerships: Proactively identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships across technology and service ecosystems, leveraging your team's collective strengths.

Drive Team Success: Inspire the team to achieve ambitious revenue targets and strategically expand the client portfolio, fostering a shared sense of ownership and success.

Who are you going to work with?

You will be a pivotal and inspirational leader within our dynamic Customer & Business Strategy capability, reporting to the Capability Lead. In this highly collaborative role, you'll not only guide global brands, client teams, and internal stakeholders across VML / WPP through complex customer experience and marketing transformations, but you'll also serve as a foundational mentor. Your leadership will be instrumental in nurturing and developing our consulting talent, shaping our cutting-edge offerings, and continuously driving a culture of innovation and excellence.

What do you bring to the table?

Proven Leadership & Consulting Experience: Extensive and proven experience in a Big 4 consultancy, leading strategy firm, or top-tier marketing agency, with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams.

Transformational Impact: Demonstrated success in leading, inspiring, and delivering complex customer experience and marketing transformation programs through effective team leadership.

Platform Acumen: Familiarity with leading platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze, Google Marketing Platform, and the vision to guide teams in their optimal utilization.

Strategic Commercial Insight: Exceptional commercial acumen, with the ability to inspire teams to link strategic initiatives directly to measurable business value.

Inspirational Leadership & Communication: Outstanding communication, visionary leadership, and exemplary stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve collective success.
