Armed with a solid understanding of rigging and skinning principles, they create the structure that allows the animator to deform the character or object according to design requirements. They leverage your technical expertise to facilitate the integration of animation systems within production pipelines. ### In this role you will: - Create and optimize rigs and skinning solutions for characters and assets of varying complexity while respecting technical constraints. - Design, implement, and maintain animation systems, pipelines, and workflows to ensure smooth integration within game engines. - Develop animation tools and scripts to improve efficiency, automate processes, and streamline production workflows. - Drive technical excellence by recommending best practices, evaluating production methods, and identifying new tools and solutions. - Mentor and support team members by sharing expertise in rigging, skinning, animation pipelines, and engine integration. - Optimize animation content and provide production support, including performance optimization across platforms and motion capture assistance when required. ### What we’re looking for: - 5-9 years of experience in technical animation within game development. - Strong expertise in 3D animation, including animation workflows and best practices. - Proficiency with game engines and DCC tools: Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, Blender, MotionBuilder, and DaVinci Resolve. - Programming skills in Python and C++ to support animation tools, pipelines, and systems. - Experience creating and working with rigging and Anim Graph systems, with a solid understanding of their implementation. - Strong grasp of animation principles and biomechanics, enabling realistic movement and high-quality character deformation. ### Dans ce rôle tu devras  : - Créer et optimiser des systèmes de rigging et de skinning pour des personnages et des assets de complexité variée, tout en respectant les contraintes techniques; - Concevoir, implanter et maintenir des systèmes, pipelines et processus d’animation afin d’assurer une intégration fluide dans les moteurs de jeu; - Développer des outils et des scripts d’animation pour automatiser les tâches, améliorer l’efficacité et optimiser les flux de production; - Promouvoir l’excellence technique en recommandant les meilleures pratiques, en évaluant les méthodes de production et en proposant de nouveaux outils et solutions; - Accompagner et mentorer les membres de l’équipe en partageant son expertise en rigging, skinning, pipelines d’animation et intégration en moteur; - Optimiser le contenu et les systèmes d’animation, tout en offrant un soutien à la production, notamment pour la performance multiplateforme et la capture de mouvement lorsque requis. ### Ce que nous recherchons : - 5 à 9 ans d’expérience en animation technique dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo; - Excellente maîtrise de l’animation 3D, de ses processus et de ses meilleures pratiques; - Maîtrise des moteurs de jeu et logiciels de création numérique (DCC) : Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, Blender, MotionBuilder et DaVinci Resolve; - Solides compétences en programmation avec Python et C++ pour le développement d’outils, de systèmes et de pipelines d’animation; - Expérience avec les systèmes de rigging et les Anim Graphs, incluant leur conception, leur mise en œuvre et leur utilisation; - Bonne compréhension des principes fondamentaux de l’animation et de la biomécanique, permettant de produire des mouvements réalistes et des déformations de haute qualité.
