Senior User Acquisition Manager I Paid Social

Job description

Clue is more than just a place to work. Our work empowers women and people with cycles to make informed decisions about their health. We break down barriers, myths, and taboos. Our workplace is agile, diverse, and full of opportunities for growth. A NOTE FROM YOUR TEAM LEAD Clue is entering its next phase of growth, and we're looking for a Senior UA Manager (Paid Social) to help us get there. This is a 2-year, Berlin-based role at the heart of our Growth team, and you'll own both the strategy and the execution behind how we scale paid social. Meta and TikTok are live today and ready for you to pick up and push further. Beyond them, there's a lot we haven't tapped into yet, and you'll help decide which emerging channels are worth betting on and how to test them. We're looking for someone who is as creative as they are analytical. You know paid social inside out, including where attribution falls short. You're fluent in measurement and incrementality testing, and ideally you've worked with MMM. You don't just optimize toward platform-reported numbers. You want to know what's truly driving growth. Test and learn is central to this role. You'll set clear hypotheses, design rigorous tests, and build the processes that keep internal teams and external partners (ad partners, creators) moving fast and in sync. The goal is simple: experiments that drive incremental impact, and learnings that compound over time. You'll bring an app background. Experience with subscription apps is a strong plus, and experience in health is even better. You'll partner closely with Growth, Brand, Science, Data, and Legal to make sure everything we ship balances performance with Clue's commitment to scientific accuracy, inclusivity, user trust and data protection If you want to build a scalable acquisition engine and shape where it goes next, we'd love to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL DO Drive paid social performance end to end Set the full-funnel paid social strategy across Meta and TikTok, from awareness through to conversion, and run execution end to end: setup, budgets, pacing, and optimization against growth targets. Identify, test, and scale growth opportunities, as well as potential emerging channels in the future (e.g. Reddit, YouTube, and others). Cover Google Ads and Apple Search Ads to ensure continuity when team members are out, and drive cross-channel learnings and knowledge sharing. Lead test and learn with a growth mindset Build a structured testing process with clear hypotheses, rigorous tests, and actionable results across audiences, bidding, and creative. Design and run incrementality tests for your channels to understand what truly drives growth, beyond platform-reported attribution. Partner with Data and our measurement tooling to turn insights into budget and channel recommendations. Write creative briefs for your channels, including UGC and creator content, and A/B test concepts and formats systematically. Collaborate cross-functionally to ship trusted campaigns Share creative and performance learnings with the creative team to inform what gets made next. Align internal and external stakeholders on priorities and testing so plans move fast and stay on track. Work with Brand, Science, and Legal so campaigns balance performance with scientific accuracy, inclusivity, and user trust. Build strong ad platform partnerships Develop close relationships with partner teams at Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms to access best practices, betas, and support. Bring new platform features and opportunities into your testing roadmap. Systematise processes and scale impact Own quarterly roadmap planning for your channels, prioritizing tests and initiatives against growth goals. Document test results and learnings so they build over time and are shared across the Growth team. Improve workflows across campaign management and creative briefing to increase speed, scale, and efficiency. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years in paid social with deep, hands-on expertise in Meta and TikTok, and full ownership of campaign execution and optimization. Familiarity with Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, and other platforms is a plus. A proven track record of scaling paid acquisition for app-first products, ideally in subscription-based, health, or regulated environments. A strong analytical foundation: you manage budgets confidently, go deep on performance data, and understand incrementality and the limits of attribution. Hands-on experience with MMPs such as Adjust or AppsFlyer, and a solid grasp of app tracking constraints, including IDFA/ATT, SKAN, and GDPR. Experience briefing and guiding creative teams, agencies, or creators, using performance insights to shape what gets made. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines. A clear communicator who bridges performance, ad platform, and creative teams with ease. A senior individual contributor who thrives on ownership and can step in across channels as needed. Alignment with Clue's mission and a genuine commitment to working in a science- and privacy-first environment.
