This role is vital for ensuring that our service operations run smoothly and efficiently, allowing our technicians to deliver exceptional service to our customers.The Service Planner will be responsible for scheduling, planning and confirming service visits, managing documentation, and streamlining communication between sales and service teams. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, an eye for detail and love solving a good puzzle.Key responsibilities:Plan and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for technicians.Optimise service routes in Lower North Island to reduce travel time and maximise on-site productivity.Confirm service appointments with customers and communicate any schedule changes promptly.Coordinate urgent service requests with the sales team and technicians.Fill schedule gaps caused by cancellations, rebookings, technician availability, or weather disruptions.Reschedule customer appointments as needed due to operational or weather-related changes.Ensure that all maintenance treatments are scheduled and completed on time.Maintain accurate service records and update data in company systems.Address service-related issues or complaints and ensure timely resolution.Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal teams.Provide routing and appointment-confirmation support to other regions as needed.What we’re looking for:Decisive and able to make informed decisions quickly.Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.Strong planning and organisational skills.Analytical mindset to evaluate service performance.Customer-oriented approach to service delivery.Negotiation skills are advantageous.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.Effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.Familiarity with the service territory being managed.What we have on offer:Work-life balance while being part of a respected and stable brand.
