Set-up Technician - Plastics (3rd Shift)

Job Description: The Set-up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates. 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am Duties and Responsibilities: Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers , in both written and verbal forms D ocumentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the d epartment as a whole Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need Education, Skills, and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent r equired 6+ months of injection molding experience Previous manufacturing experience Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions Great attention to detail is required Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills Forklift certification Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
