Social Commerce Account Lead

Job description

Who we are We’re GoSpooky: the ones who get all things social. A global agency made for the social era. We grow brands through content, community and commerce, keeping them at the forefront of culture. Social isn’t just first, it’s the foundation. From creatives and commerce specialists to game designers and data analysts, we cover the full social spectrum. If it shapes internet culture, we’re on it, making fast, bold and relevant work that actually gets shared. From TikToks that breaks the “for you” page, to creator stories built with real community insights, all the way to TikTok Shop, social affiliates and live social shopping that convert in real time. As official partners of Instagram and Snapchat and partners and social affiliates of TikTok (Shop), we work with brands like KLM, JBL, Samsung, Prime Video and HEMA. Driven by bold ambition, endless creativity and authentic people, our teams think ahead, react fast and keep brands culturally relevant. Whether it’s live social shopping, creator management, social-first campaigns or turning a trend into a brand moment. We’re always looking for fresh energy: people who bring new perspectives, challenge the norm and help us and our clients evolve. If you love shaking up social, thinking big and moving fast, you’ll fit right in. The role As our Social Commerce Account Lead , you own the client relationships that sit at the heart of our commerce business. You translate a brand's business goals into social commerce strategies and campaigns that actually sell, then you make sure we deliver them. This is not an account management seat and it is not a sales seat. It's both, plus a third thing: you're the person who reads the numbers, spots where the money actually is, and tells the client what to do about it. You'll sit across TikTok Shop, affiliate, live and creator-led content for a portfolio of (mostly DTC) brands, coordinating our affiliate, shop ops, creative and live studio specialists and our platform partners to turn a plan into performance. You carry commercial responsibility for that portfolio: the results we deliver, the margin we make, and the growth of the account. You'll report to our agency’s Commercial Director but work closely together with our Director of Social Commerce in growing this business unit. What you'll do Own a portfolio of social commerce clients end to end: the relationship, the plan, the delivery and the commercial result Translate client business goals (GMV, margin, CAC, launch targets) into social commerce strategies across TikTok Shop, affiliate, live and creator content, and defend those choices with evidence Read performance like an operator: find the bottleneck, know where the next incremental euro comes from, and change the plan when the data says so Coordinate the specialists on your accounts (affiliate, shop ops, commerce creative, studio, paid, creative and production teams), so the work lands on time and on standard Run the commercial rhythm of the account: forecasting, scoping, budgets, margin, renewals and upsell. You know what each account is worth and what it costs to serve Grow accounts by being genuinely useful: spot the opportunity before the client asks, build the case, and sell it Work with the commercial team on new business: proposals, pitches and scoping for prospective commerce clients Work directly with our TikTok and platform partners on programs, betas and co-marketing Feed what you learn back into the craft: playbooks, benchmarks, ways of working that make the next account easier What we're looking for 5-8 years in client-facing commercial roles (agency, platform, marketplace or brand side) with real ownership of accounts and targets Hands-on social commerce and e-commerce experience Genuinely performance-driven: you're comfortable in a spreadsheet, you can build a business case, and you understand the unit economics (commission, margin, ROAS, AOV, CAC) Commercially sharp: you spot growth in an existing account and can scope, price and close it A natural orchestrator: you don't line-manage the specialists on your accounts, so you get things done through clarity, priority-setting and trust Calm under pressure and honest with clients when the numbers aren't where anyone wants them Fluent English is required and Dutch is a strong advantage given our client base What’s in it for you? 25 vacation days, plus flexibility to take additional time off Commuting allowance for both car and public transport Remote working possibilities A MacBook for peak productivity Training opportunities to develop your skills and grow with us Healthy communal lunches to keep you fueled Fun events to connect, recharge, and bond as a team Phone allowance Unlimited mental health and well-being support via OpenUp A pension plan where GoSpooky contributes a percentage of your salary Dutch classes for international team members 2 extra weeks of paid birth leave/geboorteverlof for partners Apply for the job So, do you want to join our team? We’d love to hear from you! Please note: a valid EU work permit is required for this role. GoSpooky is an equal-opportunity employer. Our hiring decisions are based on objective measures and we will not discriminate against any aspect of your identity. We believe that a diverse team is crucial to our collective success and value an inclusive culture where everyone can make their impact and bring their true unique selves to work.
