Liquid Personnel is recruiting Adult Social Worker for its client's Adult, Care and Support Team in Cornwall.
This is a dynamic role within Adult Social Care, requiring a confident practitioner with a strong understanding of statutory duties, safeguarding processes, and care planning.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred services, supporting adults with varying levels of need while promoting independence, safety, and wellbeing within the community.
What will your responsibilities be?
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
• Professional Qualification: MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW.
• Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England.
• Experience:
Strong experience within Adult Social Care.
Demonstrable experience completing Safeguarding Enquiries.
Experience undertaking Care Act assessments, care planning, and reviews.
Practical experience working with Community DoLS.
Ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
• Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of all aspects of Adult Social Work practice.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Skills:
Excellent assessment and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Good organisational and time management skills.
