Software Developer / Team Leader; Automotive / HMI

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with leadership potential, ready to take on a Team Leader role. This position is split into two main responsibilities: you will spend approximately 50% of your time working as a developer within your team, and the other 50% leading the team. As Team Leader, you will work closely with the Embedded Software Owner, who will provide prioritized features and support you with technical matters. Key Responsibilities: As a Team Leader: Lead the daily work of the team. Represent the team within the organization. Keep the Jira board up to date and manage team progress. As a Developer: Work with HMI and bus-specific nodes IC3 and IC-gfx. Develop based on Logic Design and Requirements from Systemweaver. Conduct unit testing and fault tracing. Communicate with interfaces across the organization. Expected Profile: A BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or equivalent. Proven leadership skills, with experience as a Team Leader or Scrum Master. Experience with Jira. Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Python. T-shaped mindset, with the ability or interest to learn new areas. Self-motivated and able to take initiative, even within an experienced team. Nice to Have: Experience at AB Volvo, preferably Volvo Buses. Familiarity with CANalyzer. Experience with Jenkins and DaVinci for integration. Knowledge of Qml. Experience reading requirements in Systemweaver.
