**Your Job as a Software Development Expert Requirement Analyses & Architecture Design** As a Software Development Expert for Requirement Analyses & Architecture Design you define, analyze, and manage software requirements for our embedded automotive systems. You define software requirements based on system-level specifications and develop architectural concepts that serve as the basis for functional safety and cybersecurity analyses and collaborate closely with customers, software developers, system architects, and cross-functional engineering teams. **Your qualities are** - Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline - Several years of experience in software development for embedded systems - Good understanding of embedded software development processes and methods - Knowledge of software architecture principles and embedded software design - Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion, IBM DOORS or equivalent - Knowledge of ISO 26262, functional safety concepts, Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), and preferably AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive Platform) - Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion - Hands-on expertise in conducting technical, architecture, and requirements reviews - Experience with UML and/or SysML modeling and Enterprise Architect or comparable modeling tools - Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams - Fluent in German and English **You´re interested in** - Elicit, analyze, document, and maintain requirements for embedded software systems - Collaborate with customers, system engineers, software developers, and project stakeholders to define software requirements - Translate system requirements into detailed software requirements and ensure their consistency and completeness - Contribute to the definition and evaluation of software architectures for embedded applications - Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, software architecture, implementation, and verification - Work on architecture, design concepts and requirements elicitation - Support the development of safety-related software in accordance with ISO 26262 and consideration of Cyber Security according to ISO/SAE 21434 - Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of development processes compliant with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) - Work closely with software developers, test engineers, system architects, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle and guide them based on your expertise **In that case you may expect** - A future-proof job at an innovative high-tech company that is well-established in the global market and has a flat organization and a positive hands-on culture - Challenging and varied tasks performed in an innovative and collegial work environment - Extensive onboarding as well as regular special training and further training provided to ensure your continuous personal development - The opportunity to advance your career as a specialist or manager - Additional benefits such as free gym with class offerings, free accident insurance cover, a company pension scheme, health management, canteen, parking garage, company events and social services, flexitime with time account, mobile working possible There are many good reasons to become part of the Elmos team!
