## **🏥** About Sailor Health Healthcare for older adults is stuck in the past. Today, 93% of Americans aged 65+ live with at least one chronic health condition, yet the care they receive is overwhelmingly reactive instead of preventive and shaped by the misplaced belief that the average 70-year-old can’t use technology. Sailor Health is defining what modern, AI-native care looks like for older adults. Our virtual platform brings together behavioral health, wellness classes, and healthcare advocacy, with more products on the way. In tandem, our voice AI agents help patients navigate their health between visits, while AI copilots help our providers deliver higher quality, more effective care. Sailor has exceptional product market fit: - **Exponential growth:** We serve tens of thousands of patients and cover 37 million Medicare lives across all 50 states, with organic demand making Sailor one of the fastest growing companies in healthcare. - **AI powered, deeply human care:** We harness the power of AI while keeping human connection at the center of care, creating an experience that feels personal, continuous, and deeply human. - **Talent dense team:** We are a 25 person team in our NYC office and are backed by the founders of Ramp, Nourish, and Headway. You will be given the hardest business problems in the company and asked to figure out how to solve them with software or AI. You will own that work end to end: deciding what to build, building it, launching it, and making sure it moves the numbers that matter. We are looking for product forward engineers who care as much about the business “why” as the technical “how.” You will work closely with our clinical, operations, and growth teams, and you will often be the one deciding what gets built and why. Your work will shape how thousands of older adults experience their care and live their daily lives. # **💻** Your Key Responsibilities - Build web apps end to end: frontend, backend, system design, testing, and launch, owning the full lifecycle from scoping to measuring impact. - For patients, that means delightful, accessible experiences that make older adults feel confident with technology and eager to come back. - For providers, that means tools that give clinicians time back, reduce friction in their day, and measurably improve outcomes for the patients they treat. - Build AI agents from the ground up: designing conversations, orchestrating models, evaluating quality, and shipping agents that patients and providers rely on every day. - Work directly with our clinical, operations, and growth teams to understand the real problem before deciding what to build. - Work at the frontier: build with the newest models and agentic tooling the day they come out, with full freedom to pick the stack and the approach. ## **✅** Ideal Qualifications & Skills - **You’re an A+ player.** You have a burning desire to win, a track record of excellence, and a drive to build with urgency and precision. You want to be the best and you want your team to win. - **You’re technically excellent.** You are comfortable across the stack in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. - **You’re product driven.** You have strong intuition for user needs, high EQ, and a deep curiosity to understand the underlying business and clinical problems, not just the technical solution. - **You thrive in ambiguity.** You’re energized by open ended problems and move quickly with imperfect information. - **You care deeply about people.** You want your work to make a real difference in someone’s life, and you bring kindness, honesty, and low ego to how you treat your teammates along the way.
