Software Engineer Intern (IT Applications)

Job description

**Duration: 2 - 4 Months** **Internship Type: Undergraduate, Pre-University** As a Software Engineering intern, you will get the opportunity to (i) design, and develop systems and applications supporting business workflows and information management, and (ii) conduct exploration and proof-of-concept on technologies supporting software development, data management and information processing. You will work closely under the guidance of a mentor to deliver your product that meet user requirements. ### Broad Deliverables - Design and develop a system, application or proof-of-concept based on the project scope - Document the findings of various technologies explored, and - Present your product to the management and users. ### Possible Projects\* - Web/Data Applications - Mobile Applications - Building a data processing platform ### Prerequisites/Skills Required - Proficient in Java, Javascript, Python - Experience in using design patterns in Java, frameworks such as React JS, Vue, SpringBoot, enterprise search such as Elastic Search will be added advantage - Knowledge of SQL/no-SQL databases such as MS SQL, MongoDB, MinIO will be an added advantage
