We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Planning & Building Solutions team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform into a modern, AWS-hosted SaaS solution. This is an opportunity to work across the full technology stack, developing new product features, modernising legacy components and solving complex technical challenges. You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team where quality, curiosity and continuous improvement are valued. Reporting to the Development Manager, this is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities. ### What youll be doing: As a Software Engineer, you’ll design, develop and deliver scalable, maintainable software that provides a reliable experience for our customers. - Design, develop and test new product features. - Build and maintain scalable systems, APIs and web applications. - Refactor legacy code to improve performance and maintainability. - Troubleshoot product and customer issues. - Write clean, reliable and well-tested code. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. - Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners and technical writers. - Help improve our development, testing and delivery processes. ### What you’ll bring: You’ll bring: - At least three years’ experience in full-stack software development. - Strong experience with Typescript. - Experience with React, Angular or other modern JavaScript framework. - Experience with SQL Server, relational databases and RESTful APIs. - Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform. - Experience with Git, CI/CD and automated testing. - A practical understanding of scalable and maintainable software design. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Experience with SaaS products, NoSQL databases, Docker or Kubernetes would be an advantage. ### Why Objective?
