Solutions Engineer (Engenheiro(a) de Soluções) - SPO, Brasil [Remote]

Job description

## **Ready to accelerate your career?** Clara is the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We've built the leading solution for companies to make and manage all their payments. We already help over 20,000 large and growing businesses operate with agility and financial clarity through locally issued corporate cards, bill pay, financing, and a powerful B2B platform built for scale. Clara is backed by some of the most successful investors in the world, including top regional VCs like monashees, Kaszek, and Canary, and leading global funds like Notable Capital, Coatue, DST Global Partners, ICONIQ Growth, General Catalyst, Citi Ventures, SV Angel, Citius, Endeavor Catalyst, and Goldman Sachs - in addition to dozens of angel investors and local family offices. We’re building the financial infrastructure that powers high-performing organizations across the region. We invite you to join us if you want to be part of a fast-paced environment that will accelerate your career and support you to do some of the best work of your life alongside a passionate and committed team distributed across the Americas. We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to be the technical owner of our enterprise sales motion and our most strategic accounts. You'll partner with Account Executives to win complex deals, lead the design and delivery of enterprise integrations, and stay close to key accounts after go-live — making sure Clara's platform runs well and continues to grow inside their organizations. This is a full-lifecycle role — and it's for someone who builds. You'll run technical discovery and POCs in the sales phase, own integration delivery from scoping to handoff, and act as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise accounts. **But beyond execution, we expect you to constantly challenge how we work: shipping internal tools, automating what slows the team down, and using AI as a genuine force multiplier to reach an order of magnitude more impact with every integration we deliver.** The common thread across everything is ownership: you don't wait to be told, and you don't throw things over a fence. **In this role, you will:** Win deals alongside the sales team - Partner with Account Executives in enterprise sales cycles — running technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements that remove blockers and accelerate close. - Translate Clara's platform capabilities into concrete technical answers for both IT architects and business stakeholders (CFOs, finance leads, procurement teams). - Scope integrations early in the sales cycle — mapping customer systems, data flows, and technical requirements to a realistic implementation plan before contracts are signed. - Support RFP/RFI responses and security questionnaires for enterprise prospects. Design and deliver integrations - Own the end-to-end design and delivery of complex integrations between Clara's platform and enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TOTVS, Omie, Sankhya). - Build and configure integration connectors, data mappings, and workflows using Clara's APIs and integration framework. - Coordinate with customer technical teams, Clara's Product and Engineering squads, and third-party implementation partners throughout delivery. - Drive clean go-lives — delivering runbooks, monitoring configuration, and support playbooks before marking an integration as done. - Identify patterns across customer integrations and feed them back into the platform through Product and Engineering. Build for the team and for clients - Proactively identify friction in how the SE team operates — then build tools, automations, and workflows to eliminate it, not work around it. - Ship internal tooling that gives the team real leverage: automated scoping flows, demo environments, integration health dashboards, AI-assisted documentation, or anything else that moves the needle on team productivity. - Develop reusable assets from what you learn in the field — integration blueprints, connector templates, scoping playbooks, and demo environments — so that field knowledge compounds into shared team capability; every complex engagement should leave behind something the team can build on next time. - Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and equivalents) as a daily part of your workflow — to scaffold integrations faster, automate repetitive mapping work, generate boilerplate, and prototype solutions that would otherwise take days. - Raise the bar on how clients experience our integration capability: what we demo, how we document, and how we make Clara's technical sophistication visible should constantly improve because of what you build. - Challenge the status quo — if there's a faster, smarter way to deliver an integration or run a POC, find it, build it, and share it with the team. Own the technical relationship for strategic accounts - Act as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise accounts after go-live — proactively managing integration health, surfacing risks before they escalate, and connecting customers to the right internal teams when needed. - Identify opportunities for optimization and expansion within existing accounts and bring them to the commercial team. - Maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders at key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and enabling renewal and growth. **Who you are** We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. **Must haves:** - 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role — Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or equivalent. - Active daily use of AI coding tools — Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent — to accelerate development and automate repetitive work; you treat AI as a force multiplier, not a novelty. - Demonstrated experience running technical sales cycles: you've helped close enterprise deals, not just supported them from the sidelines. - Hands-on experience designing and delivering ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, TOTVS, or similar) — including API design, data mapping, and error handling. - Deep fluency in integration patterns: REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, event-driven architectures - Strong communication in Portuguese and English — you can calibrate between technical depth and business impact depending on who's in the room. - Track record of owning technical relationships with enterprise customers over time, not just during implementation.. - Demonstrated builder instinct: you've shipped internal tools, scripts, or automations that improved how a team worked, not just delivered what was scoped. **Nice to haves:** - Experience in fintech, payments, or financial data infrastructure. - Familiarity with integration platforms (n8n, Dell Boomi, or similar). - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Spanish proficiency is a strong plus. - Experience managing third-party vendors or ERP implementation partners. - Familiarity with virtual card network (VCN) programs — including card issuance APIs, spend controls (velocity limits, merchant restrictions, geography rules), and transaction reconciliation flows. ## **Why join Clara** At Clara, you’ll have the autonomy, speed, and support to make meaningful impact — not just on your team, but on how organizations are run across Latin America. #### **Who we are** - We’re the leading **B2B fintech for spend management** in Latin America. - Certified as one of the world's fastest-growing companies, a **Great Place to Work**, and a **LinkedIn Top Startup**. - Passionate about making Latin America more prosperous and competitive. - Constantly innovating to build financial infrastructure that enables each of our customers to thrive. - Product-led, high-talent-density culture — designed for builders who raise the bar. - Proud of our open, inclusive, and values-driven environment. #### **What we believe in** - **#Clarity.** We say things clearly, directly, and proactively. - **#Simplicity.** We reduce noise to focus on what really matters. - **#Ownership.** We take responsibility and never wait to be told. - **#Pride.** We build products and experiences we’re proud of. - **#Always Be Changing (ABC).** We grow through feedback, risk-taking, and action. - **#Inclusivity.** Every voice counts. Everyone contributes to our mission. #### **What we offer** - Competitive salary and stock options (**ESOP**) from day one - Multicultural team with daily exposure to **Portuguese, Spanish, and English** (our corporate language) - Annual learning budget and internal accelerated development paths - High-ownership environment: we move fast, learn fast, and raise the bar — together - Smart, ambitious teammates — low ego, high impact - Flexible vacation and **hybrid work model** focused on results If you’re ready for growth, ownership, and impact — apply now and help us redefine B2B finance in Latin America. --- #### Clara’s Hybrid Policy Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team. We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
