**Job Title:** General Sonographer – Weekend Shifts **Location:** Derbyshire **Working Pattern:** Saturday and Sunday (weekday induction required) **Role Overview:** We are seeking experienced General Sonographers to join a well-regarded NHS service in Derbyshire for weekend shifts. Following a weekday induction, you will provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across a varied caseload, helping maintain patient care and service delivery over the weekend. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a wide range of general ultrasound examinations to a high standard. - Accurately report findings and make appropriate referrals when necessary. - Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout all examinations. - Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of weekend ultrasound services. **Requirements:** - HCPC registration. - Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected). - Proven competency in general sonography. - Ability to work independently during weekend shifts. - Strong communication and patient-care skills. **Benefits:** - Weekend work with pay uplifts (e.g., 30% for Saturdays, 60% for Sundays). - Flexible opportunity for those looking to supplement weekday work. - Supportive team environment and varied case mix.
