Role OverviewThe Spa Trainee supports the Spa Team in delivering exceptional wellness experiences, while learning a variety of spa treatments and assisting with the daily operations of the spa. This role offers hands-on training and development within a luxury hospitality environment. Role Overview
The Spa Trainee supports the Spa Team in delivering exceptional wellness experiences, while learning a variety of spa treatments and assisting with the daily operations of the spa. This role offers hands-on training and development within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Assisting senior Spa Therapists in performing spa treatments, learning and practicing techniques under supervision
- Preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for therapists and guests
- Observing guest consultations and learning how to assess guest needs and recommend suitable treatments
- Supporting the setup and breakdown of spa areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times
- Developing knowledge of spa services, products, and treatments, and assisting in their promotion to guests
- Welcoming guests warmly and assisting with basic inquiries regarding spa services and schedules
- Supporting the spa team with administrative tasks, including treatment records and inventory management
- Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to build skills and knowledge in spa treatments
- Assisting guests with post-treatment care and recommendations, ensuring a memorable spa experience
Requirements
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the spa and wellness industry
- Excellent knowledge of the English language; additional languages will be considered an asset
