It is expected that technical solution concepts start at mid/low technical maturity and you develop them to a CML2+ level (see JPL "concept maturity level" scale). The position will require you to work globally, but is based in Tokyo/will require relocation and reports to the EVP of R&D (CTO Group). - You are the R&D point of contact for business development teams in Japan and globally. With them, you engage directly with customers to understand their needs (mass requirements for a transport mission, landing site/target orbit, communications/power/ISRU or other operational requirements, etc.). - Based on those inputs, you provide tailored technical proposals considering ispace's current products and future roadmap.
