Grade: Consultant
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Contract: 12-months fixed-term, with CESR support
Rate: £55,825 to £90,000 a year pro rata per annum

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine to provide top-tier care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with three acute hospitals and community sites serving a local population of around 700,000. You will be joining a team of 9 consultants, 7 Nurse specialists (sleep, lung cancer, NIV), in-patient Respiratory practitioner team, fully equipped Respiratory Physiology department and a dynamic, rapidly evolving department, reconfiguring to allow targeted sub-specialty work.

As a Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions, managing patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be vital in guiding teams to deliver high-quality respiratory medicine services and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications and Experiences

• Medical degree and valid medical license.
• MRCP or equivalent.
• Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible to join the register within 6-months.
• Applicants for the substantive position must have GMC specialist registration or be eligible to join the specialist register within 6-months.
• Proven experience as a Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in medicine procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
