## Job Description **What's on the menu?** Specification Data Management Specialist - China at a glance ... As the Specification Data Management Specialist, you will support specification maintenance activities, PLM system support, and specification excellence. This role operates with autonomy in a dynamic, cross-functional, and integrated environment. **Key Ingredients:** - Support all spec data activities and processes and ensure data meets the correct requirements for PLM and downstream systems - Manage complex specification workflows end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, regulatory and commercial compliance - Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and drive approvals on schedule - Implement updates due to internal or external change requests - Support proactive data reporting, analysis, and correction - Troubleshooting and system support for R&D guides on policy, assist with resolving escalations - Collaborate with International counterparts on system governance, efficiencies, and consistency - Work in accordance with R&D/compliance/nutritional/legal/Food Safety/Quality requirements **Recipe for Success: Apply if this sounds like you!** - Ability to communicate in English and Chinese - Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, chemistry, or related field - Proven experience in specification management, product development or quality systems within food/beverage or CPG industries - Proficient with specification databases, PLM systems, and ERP tools - Attention to detail - Critical thinking and problem-solving ability - Written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical details to non‑technical stakeholders - Organizational/time management skill / ability to run multiple assignments concurrently - Track record of executing projects and driving results on cross‑functional teams **Work Environment & Schedule** - The function is based in Nijmegen or Amsterdam.
