ChristianaCare is recruiting for a part time (40 hours biweekly) Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient acute care setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach. One weekend day per month and one holiday per year required. Principal Duties and Responsibilities : Perform comprehensive patient evaluations Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames Provide patient and family education and training Education and experience requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification CPR Certification Acute care experience preferred Rehabilitation Team Offers: Training/Mentorship Program for skills including but not limited to: tracheostomy/vent, Videofluoroscopy Swallowing Studies, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, and Videostroboscopy Studies; Career Ladder for professional advancement; Dynamic team with many having 10+ years with ChristianaCare. Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
