Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Commissioning ELV Engineer who will own end-to-end commissioning of ELV / ICT / BMS / SAS / Fire & Life Safety systems on complex projects, ensuring standalone verification and seamless Integrated Systems Testing (IST) to handover on time, to spec, and fully documented. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day ELV commissioning planning, priorities, and resourcing; maintain live trackers and punch/defect logs. Execute and witness standalone tests ( FAT / SAT / FPT ) before consultant inspections, close comments to final approval. Drive Integrated Testing across subsystems ( FLS, BMS, Security, ICT/Network, PA/VA, Access, CCTV, SAS , etc.). Review IFC/shop drawings, specs, and method statements to confirm install/commission ability; raise/resolve TQs. Coordinate with Main Contractor, MEP, vendors, and Consultant for approvals, energization windows, and change impacts. Inspect and sign off test packs, WIRs / MIRs ; ensure documentation is version-controlled and audit-ready. Monitor construction readiness and LV panel energization milestones ; escalate risks/constraints early. Ensure FLS MCI (where applicable) is inspected and approved by authorized third parties/House of Expertise. Lead site teams for ELV / ICT / BMS / SAS scope ; support as-built creation and project closure dossiers (O&M, training, spares). Required Qualifications: 5–8 years in ELV/low-current systems with proven commissioning leadership on mid-to-large projects. Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or closely related). Hands-on with FAT / SAT /FPT, IST planning/execution, and Consultant witnessing to final acceptance. Strong documentation discipline (test packs, ITPs, method statements, trackers, red-lines, as-builts). Working knowledge of relevant codes/standards ( NFPA, IEC / BS EN, TIA / BICSI ) and LV energization safety. Stakeholder management with GC/Consultant/subs; crisp technical communication and TQ handling. Preferred Qualifications: Commissioning on healthcare, airports, data centers, rail, or high-rise. Vendor familiarity (e.g., Honeywell/JCI/Siemens/BMS; ACS/CCTV/Access; PAVA; structured cabling). Experience with third-party certifications/Authority approvals (e.g., Civil Defense/House of Expertise).
