Sr Designer & Product Developer

Job description

Founded in 2020, unybrands is the next-generation brand accelerator platform built to acquire, integrate, and scale digital-first consumer brands. Headquartered in Miami, with offices in New York, London, Berlin, and Shenzhen, our 240+ team brings deep expertise across e-commerce, brand management, consumer retail, operational scaling, and M&A. Since inception, we have acquired 30+ brands across Pet Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Supplements, Baby & Juvenile, Garden & Outdoor, Sports & Fitness, and Home & Lifestyle — completing 20+ acquisitions and delivering 16 consecutive quarters of like-for-like organic growth post-integration. Our competitive advantage lies in a fully integrated operating system purpose-built to transform digital brands into omni-channel category leaders. Powered by a proprietary technology stack built on NetSuite ERP with 200+ data integrations, our platform enables brands to thrive across marketplaces, direct-to-consumer channels, and brick-and-mortar retail. We focus on acquiring digital-first brands within carefully selected verticals, then applying tailored value creation playbooks that drive growth through innovation, expansion, and automation. We believe the next generation of consumer brands will be built differently — and we're building the AI-enabled retail tech platform to help them consolidate and win. **Senior Designer & Product Developer — Baby + Lifestyle Soft Goods** USA - Remote | Senior Individual Contributor | 6–10+ years experience **Design isn't finished at the sketch. At this luxury baby brand, it's just getting started.** We make some of the softest, most beloved products a baby will ever touch, and we're looking for a Senior Designer & Product Developer to help write the next chapter of that story. This isn't a job for designers who hand off a sketch and walk away. It's for someone who lives for the whole arc: from first mood board to final tech pack, from lab dip to loading dock. If you can spot the difference between "soft" and *unmistakably elevated*(and you know how to build that feeling into a product that actually ships) keep reading. **What you'll actually do:** - Dream up seasonal and evergreen products across baby, kids, nursery and lifestyle soft goods - Set the color, material, texture, print and trim direction that makes something feel instantly recognizable as the brand's own - Build the tech packs, specs, BOMs and construction details that turn concepts into real, sellable product - Get hands-on with fabrics, trims and finishes, and partner directly with suppliers and factories to make it happen - Balance beauty, quality, cost and manufacturability without losing your point of view - Help dream up entirely new categories, not just refresh the old ones **You're our person if you have:** - 6–10+ years designing and developing product in baby, children's, apparel, home textiles or soft goods - A portfolio that's as commercially smart as it is beautiful - Serious fluency in textiles, construction, tech packs and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop - Experience working directly with domestic and international suppliers - The rare ability to think big-picture and obsess over the smallest construction detail **Bonus points if you've worked in:** premium baby or kids brands, baby gifting, blankets/sleepwear/plush/nursery textiles, home textiles, DTC + national retail product development, or children's product safety and compliance. This is a builder's role at a beloved luxury brand people already love. Come make it even softer. unybrands is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without any regard to race, skin color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and age.
