Job description
Your tasks As the Asset’s Technical Authority in the field of Subsea, provide sound technical advice to the Neptun Asset Operations team and the overall Asset for all subsea related equipment, procedures, activites and competency requirements to ensure safe and efficient operations The Sr Expert Subsea Operations is responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and safe operation of the Neptun Deep subsea infrastructure throughout the asset’s lifecycle By strong personal commitment to HSSE, the Sr Expert Subsea Operations shall act as a role model for both Contractors and Peers Maintain continuous oversight of the physical condition and operating status of subsea equipment, control systems, flowlines, and pipeline infrastructure Lead the engineering, planning, and safe execution of all subsea Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair (IMR) activities Confirm that all preparatory activities are completed prior to offshore execution, including vessel audits, supplier coordination, and scenario planning Provide technical support during non-routine subsea operations such as well annulus depressurization or hydrate plug recovery Ensure all required permits and consents from partners, regulators, and stakeholders are secured and complied with Your profile Education: University degree in Engineering or Technical/Science Relevant professional experience: >12 years Ability to manage both internal and external resources/contractors to deliver results Ability to perform technical contract management of subsea contractors and suppliers Identify and implement improvements within the area of expertise and the wider Asset activities Understand how to implement and manage continuous risk identification and mitigation, including management of change, to minimise risks to work-scope delivery and business Experience in implementing and recording feedback of lessons learned and turn them into improved processes in the future Experience in a wide range of subsea projects and IMR execution activities Experience of applicable subsea IMR / construction technologies and techniques, their limitations and operational risks Experience in ROV tooling for subsea IMR and project work execution Experience in both saturation and air diving techniques for subsea IMR and related project work execution A good understanding of subsea codes, standards and working practices A good understanding of subsea engineering, procurement, construction, testing, diagnostics, fault finding, operation and commissioning activities. Experience shall include a range of subsea elements including subsea wellheads, pipelines (rigid and flexible), subsea structures, risers (rigid and flexible), caissons, electro-hydraulic controls and chemical injection systems Proficient in English
