Sr. Field Marketing Manager

Job description

### **About Circuit** Circuit is the AI execution layer for the physical economy. Industrial and manufacturing enterprises run on expertise: the hard-won knowledge of how complex products are engineered, configured, sold, and supported. That expertise is scarce, slow to transfer, and walking out the door as a generation of experts retires. It lives in PDFs, spreadsheets, and the heads of a few people, and the hardest technical decisions wait on whoever happens to know. Circuit puts expert judgment in everyone's hands. We capture how the best people make critical technical decisions and turn it into agents that do the judgment-heavy work, so anyone, regardless of skill level, can make the right call, from quote to install and support, with the accuracy these environments demand. Circuit is built by operators. Our leadership team has built and scaled real industrial companies, and we are already live in production with category-leading manufacturers. We are not bolting AI onto an old playbook. We are building the layer that runs the last mile of how the physical economy executes. ### **The Role** As Sr. Field Marketing Manager at Circuit, you'll own the strategy and execution of our field marketing program, building experiences that put Circuit in front of the right buyers and turn in-person engagement into pipeline. **This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership of the field program.** You'll own our events calendar end to end, from major industry conferences and trade shows to executive dinners, roundtables, hosted experiences, and partner events. You'll work closely with Sales to determine where we show up, who we need in the room, and how we turn each investment into meaningful engagement before, during, and after an event. This is a builder role. You'll establish the playbook, partnerships, vendors, budget, and measurement framework for field marketing at Circuit while remaining deeply hands-on with execution. You'll have significant ownership over how Circuit shows up in the market and help build field marketing into a repeatable growth channel as we scale. **This role requires up to 40% travel, including occasional international travel, to attend conferences, host events, and meet with customers and partners.** ### Key Responsibilities - Own Circuit's field marketing strategy and events calendar, including industry conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, roundtables, hosted experiences, and partner events - Build an events strategy around target accounts, priority industries, and pipeline goals, determining where Circuit should participate, sponsor, host, or create its own presence - Design and execute high-touch executive experiences that bring together the right prospects, customers, partners, and industry leaders - Partner closely with AEs and the broader GTM team on target account lists, invitations, pre-event outreach, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up - Identify and secure high-value opportunities including speaking engagements, sponsorships, strategic partnerships, suites, and co-hosted events - Build strong relationships with conference organizers, venues, vendors, and industry partners and negotiate contracts, pricing, placement, and sponsorship packages - Own event logistics from concept through execution, including budgets, vendors, venues, travel, production, collateral, and on-site coordination - Develop repeatable pre- and post-event plays that turn field activity into meetings, opportunities, and pipeline - Establish clear measurement and reporting for field marketing, including sourced and influenced pipeline, target-account engagement, meetings, opportunities, and ROI - Manage the field marketing budget and make disciplined decisions about where to invest, reinvest, and pull back based on results - Build the foundational processes, vendor network, tools, and operating cadence needed to scale Circuit's field marketing program - Partner with Marketing, Sales, and leadership to continuously refine our field strategy based on performance, customer feedback, and market opportunities ### Experience - 7+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or a related B2B marketing role, including significant experience supporting enterprise or mid-market sales - Proven experience owning a field marketing or events calendar end to end, from strategy and budgeting through execution and measurement - Deep experience creating executive-level events, including dinners, roundtables, hosted experiences, and other high-touch programs - Track record of securing and negotiating sponsorships, speaking opportunities, partnerships, and premium event experiences - Strong understanding of how field marketing contributes to pipeline, with experience measuring sourced and influenced revenue rather than relying solely on attendance or engagement metrics - Experience working closely with Sales on account targeting, outreach, event activation, and follow-up - Strong vendor, budget, contract, and project management skills - Comfortable representing the company directly with senior prospects, customers, partners, and industry leaders - Bonus: Experience marketing to manufacturing, industrial, or other physical-economy industries - Bonus: Experience with account-based marketing and target-account programs - Bonus: Experience building a field marketing function as an early or first field marketing hire ### Human Skills - Relationship-driven and comfortable building trust with executives, partners, vendors, and internal teams - Commercially minded, with a strong instinct for where to invest time and budget to create meaningful business outcomes - Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple events, partners, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously - Resourceful and hands-on, willing to move between strategy, negotiation, planning, and on-site execution - Strong negotiator who knows when to push for better pricing, placement, access, or partnership value - Excellent communicator with the presence to represent Circuit in front of senior audiences - Collaborative and highly aligned with Sales, with a shared sense of ownership for pipeline and results - Curious, adaptable, and comfortable building in a fast-moving, early-stage environment ### What We Offer - High-caliber team of seasoned manufacturing and AI leaders - Help create a category-defining platform transforming how manufacturers sell, support, and innovate - Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and employer-paid benefits - Flexible PTO and access to the latest AI tools - A values-driven culture that rewards ownership, curiosity and velocity
