Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing & ABM

Job description

Pelago is the leading specialty substance use care provider, built on the belief that effective treatment means matching care intensity to what each member actually needs rather than defaulting to the most expensive intervention. Our programs guide members through every stage of the substance use spectrum, from unhealthy habits to active use disorders, delivering personalized treatment for tobacco, alcohol, opioid, cannabis, and stimulant use based on individual health, habits, genetics, and goals. With Sona, our voice-first AI Mental Health Specialist, Pelago now applies that same clinically-driven model to mental health, pairing deep clinical expertise with technology to expand access without compromising care quality. We believe technology should make clinical care more precise and more human, not replace the judgment behind it. Pelago has scaled to helping hundreds of employers and health plans and has already helped more than 750,000 members better manage their substance use. If you're passionate about AI and making an impact on the health of others, join us and make it happen! **Overview of the Role:** Pelago sells to large, complex organizations where decisions involve benefits, HR and finance leaders, and where trust is earned over many conversations. The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing & ABM owns how we bring employers to the table. You will build and run Pelago's employer ABM program, turn our positioning into account-level programs that open and advance conversations, and own the paid, contact-based and digital channels that reach the people who make the decision. You will work hand-in-hand with Channel Marketing, which engages employers through our health plan and partner relationships. Together you will take a coordinated approach to each priority account, reaching it from more than one direction. You will be the connective tissue across Product Marketing, Events, Business Development and Channel Marketing for Pelago’s priority accounts. ***This is a hybrid role with a high-collaboration rhythm (3 days/week in our NYC office).*** **In This Role You Will:** - **Lead Employer ABM** - Design and run a tiered ABM program for priority employer accounts, from one-to-one programs for the largest opportunities to scaled programs across a broader set. - Partner with Business Development, Channel Marketing and GTM Systems on account selection and prioritization. - Build account plans that map the buying group, the message for each persona, and the sequence of touches that gets an employer into a first conversation and keeps it moving. - Run a regular account review with Business Development and Sales so everyone knows which accounts are moving, what each needs next, and who owns it. - **Coordinate the Approach to Each Account** - Align employer programs with Channel Marketing's plan and partner programs so shared accounts hear one story from several directions. - Work with Product Marketing to bring the value story and proof into every stage of the conversation, including the business case finance leaders need. - Build account programs around events with the Events team: who we want in the room, how we get the meeting, and who owns the follow-up. - Own the commercial marketing calendar so launches, events, content and paid programs work as one plan. - **Own Paid, Contact-Based, and Digital Channels** - Own Pelago's contact-based advertising platform, including audience strategy, buying-group targeting, creative testing and budget. - Own paid media strategy and spend across channels. - Own website priorities and analytics for buyer conversion, working with our agency and web partners. - Report on account engagement, progression and conversion, using the attribution and reporting GTM Systems maintains. - **Use AI to Extend Reach** - Work with GTM Systems to apply AI to account research, personalization and follow-up, so the team covers more accounts with the same people. - Use intent, engagement and relationship signals to decide where effort goes next. **The Background We Are Looking For:** - 7+ years in B2B marketing, including 3+ years designing and running ABM programs for enterprise accounts. - A record of opening and advancing conversations in a long, multi-stakeholder sale; experience selling to HR, benefits or healthcare buyers strongly preferred. - Hands-on experience with contact-based and account-based advertising platforms, paid media and web analytics. - Experience coordinating with channel or partner marketing teams in shared accounts. - Working knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot; you build your own reports. - Comfort leading peers and sellers without direct authority: you set the rhythm, keep the plan and hold people to it. - Hands-on use of AI tools in your own work, and curiosity about where they can do more. #### Your First Year: - A prioritized employer account list and a live program for each tier. - A working rhythm with Business Development and Channel Marketing that everyone relies on. - The contact-based ad platform and paid programs running against priority accounts, with clear reporting. - Measurable improvement in how priority accounts progress and convert. #### **Who You Will Work With:** Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Events, Business Development, GTM Systems, Content and Social, our creative agency, and commercial leadership across Employer Sales and Health Plans & Partnerships. **What You’ll Love About Us:** We have a whole host of perks for our people! From life essentials to nice-to-haves, there are more than a few good reasons to love working with us. We strive to ensure Pelago employees have equitable access to healthcare, wellbeing, time away, and then some. - Generous and meaningful equity package - Full Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage - 401k Plan (including 3% match) - Unlimited PTO Policy, 10 paid holidays, & company wide “Me Time” Days - Paid maternity, paternity & new parent leave - Flexible working environment - Annual Learning and Development stipend to support continued learning and career development - Wellness Reimbursement Program - Access to Reproductive & Family Planning Care - Substance Use Support for employees and family members **At this time, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.** Please note that Pelago is dedicated to providing accommodations to candidates upon request.
