Sr. People Partner

Job description

The world runs on energy. Energy runs on the people who keep grids balanced, market clearing, and water flowing. Volue builds the software behind them — and behind that software is a team of around 800 people across the Nordics, Europe and Turkey. Our mission is to provide innovative services critical to society, unlocking a cleaner, better and more profitable future. Working towards this goal, Volue has become a leading technology supplier and enabler of the green transition, helping energy companies simplify and optimize everyday operations. We are now looking for a Senior People Partner to take ownership of Turkey and who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. The role You will be the trusted partner to leaders who are technical, fast-moving and commercially driven. Since Volue has acquired smartPulse, Turkey has grown into one of our most dynamic hubs, and the People agenda here is still being written. We are looking for a self-going Senior People Partner who sits in the room when organizational decisions get made, challenges the thinking, and then carries it through to execution. What you will be doing to make a difference: • Partnering leaders in Turkey and internationally on organizational design, workforce planning and capability building as the Turkish hub scales • Leading employee relations cases end to end, making sure the processes are compliant with Turkish labor law • Coaching managers through performance, leadership and difficult conversations — raising the bar on how they lead • Owning compensation cycles, talent reviews and other people processes for Turkey, including benchmarking and inflation-driven pay reviews in a competitive Turkish tech market • Translating Turkish labor law and regulation into practical decisions leaders can act on • Governing local HR operations together with payroll, benefits and legal partners • Owning recruitment processes end to end, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews, managing offers and coordinating the onboarding process. • Contributing to People initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, company culture and the overall employee experience in Turkey. • Being the voice of Turkey in Volue’s global People agenda, not just delivering it — you will help build what comes next What you need to succeed: • 8+ years of experience in People/HR roles, including at least 4 years in a Senior HRBP, People Partner or equivalent strategic HR role • Proven ownership of employee relations cases and organizational change • Strong working knowledge of Turkish labor law and HR compliance • Fluency in Turkish and English — you will work with local leaders and an international People team every day • Experience in tech or engineering environments is a strong advantage • The judgment to decide locally with the ability to stay aligned globally — you will be our most senior People voice on the ground in Turkey Reasons to join Volue team and what we offer: We sit at the center of the energy transition. The decisions our customers make with our software affect how entire societies are. That is the work you would be supporting — and the leaders you would be coaching. You will join a global People team that is trusted, close to the business, and given real room to be able to shape how Volue grows. A competitive compensation and benefits package In Volue, we cherish each employee’s competence, ideas and personality. Let your skills and talent be a part of our team – and let us leave our mark on the world together! Company Culture In Volue, we believe that in order to be a successful company, we need to bring everyone to the table. We look at diversity as a competitive advantage. A diverse workforce enables better decision-making and creates more value. By inclusion, we refer to the sense of belonging and being part of a community at work. We want the people of Volue to feel welcome, valued and not least encouraged to bring their whole, unique selves to work. Volue is about people. From staff to client, people are at the center of all our operations, and we always strive for a flat structure where everyone feels included, appreciated and heard.
