Job description
About INflow Federal - founded in 2013, INflow Federal is a mission-driven small business delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Department of War (DoW) and Joint Force operations across 20+ states. Our strength comes from our people - especially the Veterans who make up over 50% of our workforce. Through our Veteran Outreach Program and employee-first culture, we invest deeply in professional growth, well-being, and innovation. Known for our agility, transparency, and integrity, INflow combines real-world experience with emerging technologies like AI/ML to help our customers lead in a rapidly evolving defense landscape. We empower both our employees and mission partners to stay ahead - driving smarter, faster, and more secure outcomes. ### Job Overview: INflow Federal is seeking a experienced, self-motivated Senior Systems Engineer who understands how SIGINT tasking and collection actually works at the IC/COCOM level, sits onsite with those users, and turns what they need into requirements, SysML models, and user stories that a development team builds into a space-ground cloud application. The individual should be technically literate in order to collaborate effectively with developers on cloud, DevSecOps, and Linux - because on this program, the mission requirements and the platform constraints are the same conversation - but you would be specifying and reviewing the system, not standing it up. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. \*\* Please note that this position is contingent upon contract award \*\* ### Required Skills: - Experience performing requirements engineering, translating operational needs into clear testable requirements and documentation. - Understanding of User Interface design and development practices in order to bridge the gap between stakeholder requirements and engineering teams - Experience with TCPED processes, practices and tools at the IC and/or COCOM level, focusing on tasking and collection (strong preference for SIGINT) - Experience with Ground Processing, Command and Control and/or Intelligence Systems - Experience with UML/SysML modeling tools such as MagicDraw - Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Subversion, Git, etc.) - IC3 experience preferred - Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces and geospatial data - Experience working on-site with customers and end users in the DoD and/or Intelligence Community ### Desired Skills: Skills: - Proficient in requirements identification, analysis, documentation, and tracking - Proficient analyzing customer needs, and identifying user stories and technical tasks to achieve various Agile objectives and iterative development schedules - Proficient in statistical analysis methods and tools - Experience working with and providing requirements to technical team including DevSecOps, Cloud and development teams. Other skills: - Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment - Motivated self-starter with good problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability - Ability to develop improved methods to increase program efficiency - Demonstrated leadership skills (supervisory experience, building teams, mentoring, building customer relationships) - Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers, functional managers, customers, industry partners, and teammates - Strong oral and written communications skills - Good planning and organizational skills ### Experience & Education Requirements: - Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline - 8+ years related experience or equivalent experience, training and/or certifications ### Clearance Requirements: - Active DoD Top Secret (SCI preferred)
