It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management: Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.Record journal entries to close books on a monthly basis.Reconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basis.Accounts Payable:Record invoices, obtain approval, and generate payments.Manage supplier tax documentation, including VAT IDs and other required tax information, support contractor income tracking, and ensure VAT compliance where applicable.Organize and maintain vendor records.Audit Coordination:Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits.Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards.Other Areas:Ad hoc projects.Crosstrain and back up other team members when necessary.RequirementsFluent German (written and spoken).Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar accounting role.Familiarity with Hubspot, Ramp, and similar tools.Multitasking, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BenefitsThe anticipated base salary range for this role is €45,000–€70,000 EUR annually.
