# Staff Design Engineer (Mechanical | Manufacturing) > Talent Trader Group · Singapore, Singapore · Full-time · Posted 2024-02-22 **Salary:** SGD 60,000–100,000 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** ENG ## Description - Responsible for creating design of module, structures and fixtures in mechanical. - Carry out to complete the design process such as studies of feasibility, conceptual detailed design using 3D solid modeling, analysis, procurement prototype parts, assembly, testing and troubleshooting, etc. - Collaborate with the engineering teams to provide seamless integration and testing at the system and subsystem level. - Manage suppliers to ensure design specifications are met. - Responsible for executing environmental and transportation testing such as vibration, shock & temperature. - Work out product concerns throughout the product phases. - In-charge of thermal management, vibration control, purge flow analysis & image contamination. - Other ad hoc task as assigned. ## Requirements - With Doctorate (Academic) in Mechanical Engineering or it’s equivalent. - At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience. - Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals (drawing specifications, design principles, fabrication methods, etc). - Prior experience in R&D in designing mechanical precision design.
