Staff Product Manager – Digital Assets

Job description

Nium provides global infrastructure for real-time cross-border payments. We were founded on the mission to deliver the global payments infrastructure of tomorrow, today. Our platform enables banks, fintechs, and global businesses to move money instantly, everywhere. Co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore with offices in 14 markets worldwide, we are entering one of the most exciting chapters in our journey. In March 2026, we delivered the largest month in our 11-year history with record revenue, record volumes, and EBITDA profitability. Today, Nium moves nearly $60B in payments annually, almost entirely for enterprises, while continuing to strengthen an already healthy balance sheet. It is an incredible time to join us, and we are only just getting started. Our payout network spans 190+ countries and 100 currencies, with 100 + corridors in real time. We power seamless transfers to accounts, wallets, and cards, support local collections in 35 markets, and as a principal card issuer on Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and UATP, Nium issues over 50 million card tokens every year. Backed by regulatory licenses in 40+ markets, we make it simple for our partners to onboard, integrate, and scale globally. This scale and innovation have earned us recognition as one of CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies 2025, winner of Best Cross-Border Payments Solution at the PayTech Awards, and inclusion in FXC Intelligence’s Top 100 Cross-Border Payments Companies list. In 2024, we raised US$50 million in Series E funding at a US$1.4 billion valuation to accelerate network expansion, product innovation, and talent growth. With the B2B payments market projected to hit US$175 trillion by 2030, Nium offers ambitious builders the chance to shape the future of global money movement with the scale of a leader and the energy of a high-growth company. **About the Role** Nium moves billions in payments every month for some of the world’s most demanding companies — banks, fintechs, and enterprise platforms operating across 100+ countries. We built that on fiat rails. The next layer is digital currency: stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and card products that let customers spend, settle, and move value in USDC as naturally as they do in dollars or euros. We’re hiring a Staff PM – Digital Assets to own that build. Not the strategy document — the actual product. If you’ve shipped a stablecoin wallet, a crypto-funded card, or a fiat-to-digital conversion flow and you understand what it takes to get that through compliance, engineering, and go-live in a regulated environment, this is your rol ### Responsibilities - Own stablecoin-funded card products — physical and virtual cards funded from or settled in stablecoins (USDC and equivalents). Define the product, get it through compliance, ship it. - Build digital asset support into Nium’s multi-currency wallet — hold, convert, and send stablecoins alongside fiat currencies. This is a wallet extension, not a new product line. - Design and ship on/off-ramp flows — fiat-to-digital and digital-to-fiat conversion, including rate logic, settlement timing, and failure handling. Own the full customer experience. - Drive stablecoin-based cross-border settlement — payin and payout flows that clear on digital rails. Work with network and settlement teams to make these production-grade. - Evaluate and integrate custodians, exchanges, and blockchain infrastructure — as infrastructure decisions with integration timelines and SLAs, not as partnership strategy. - Own compliance product design for digital assets — MiCA, VASP frameworks, travel rule, FinCEN requirements. These get built into the product spec, not handed off to legal. ### Requirements - 7+ years in product management. Fintech, crypto infrastructure, or payments required. - You’ve shipped at least one digital asset product in production — a stablecoin wallet, a crypto card, an on/off-ramp, or a digital settlement rail. Not a prototype. Not a strategy deck. - Strong payments foundation — cross-border flows, FX, wallets, settlement mechanics. Digital assets are an extension of this, not a departure from it. - Regulatory fluency as a product skill — you know what MiCA, travel rule, VASP registration, and FinCEN MSB requirements mean for your spec, your launch sequence, and your go/no-go decisions. - Experience working with custodians, blockchain infrastructure, or card networks — enough to evaluate integration tradeoffs and write requirements that engineering can build against. - Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity, high-compliance environments — you know when to move and when to wait for legal sign-off. ### How We’ll Measure Success - Volume settled on digital rails (stablecoin payins + payouts) — tracked quarterly against target - Card activation rate and spend volume for stablecoin-funded card products - On/off-ramp conversion rate and time-to-settlement - Time-to-integration for new custodian or blockchain network partners - Regulatory coverage: number of markets with compliant, live digital asset product
