Staff Solutions Architect

Job description

## **Who we are** Video is 90% of the world's data. Most of it is invisible to machines. TwelveLabs builds the intelligence layer to change that. Our multimodal AI models understand video the way humans do — across sight, sound, and motion — and power production-scale AI workloads across media, entertainment, sports, security, and government. We have raised more than $210 million from NEA, Radical Ventures, Amazon, NVIDIA, Snowflake, Databricks, Index Ventures, NAVER Ventures, Korea Investment Partners, Quadrille Capital, Red Bull Ventures, and AI pioneers including Fei-Fei Li, Silvio Savarese, and Alexandr Wang. We are a global company, headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Seoul, New York, and London, and employees around the world. We believe the differences in our cultural, educational, and life experiences make our products stronger. Building technology that understands the world in all its complexity requires people who see it from every angle. We are looking for individuals who are driven by hard problems and want their work to matter. Come build it with us! ## **About the Role** We're hiring a Solutions Architect to help our strategic customers unlock the full potential of video AI. Acting as the dedicated technical resource for key accounts, you'll drive solution design, implementation guidance, and the co-development of innovative applications that showcase the capabilities of our multimodal foundation models. You'll provide expert technical guidance while collaborating with Sales, Product, Partnerships and Engineering teams. This is a highly self-directed and creative role where you'll need to thrive in an unstructured, rapidly expanding and evolving environment. Candidates must be able to travel up to 10% of the time annually to attend conferences, off-site meetings, and other business-related events as required by the role. This role may require participation in on-site interviews and/or completion of in-person onboarding processes. ## **In this role, you will** Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing technical expertise, scoping use cases, and supporting the implementation of video AI applications with technical stakeholders at startups and enterprises. Own technical relationships with strategic customers, ensuring successful integrations, resolving complex technical challenges, and driving adoption across their organizations. Guide customers on best practices for leveraging TwelveLabs APIs to create secure, scalable, and differentiated video understanding experiences. Serve as the first line of defense for design, security, compliance, and architecture questions, escalating complex requirements to internal experts as needed. Create and maintain documentation, implementation guides, and FAQs for common customer requirements and technical challenges. Gather customer feedback and represent the voice of developers and enterprises to internal teams, helping shape product roadmaps and future capabilities. ## ## **You may be a good fit if you have** Have **5+ years of experience** in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Implementation Engineer. Have experience working with hyperscalers (**AWS preferred, with hands-on experience supporting customers building on Amazon Bedrock**; Azure, GCP, or other cloud providers also welcome). Demonstrate a **strong understanding of and experience working with LLMs, multimodal AI, REST APIs, Python, JavaScript**, and modern application development, with a **deep understanding of video workflows and video workloads**. Have **experience driving customer implementations** from kickoff through production launch, with a track record of building trusted technical relationships. Are an **exceptional communicator** who can translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and debug integration issues with engineering teams. **Operate with high horsepower**, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-changing environment with evolving priorities. Bring a **collaborative, humble attitude** with an eagerness to help customers and internal teams succeed. Even if there are a few checkboxes that aren't ticked through your prior experience, we still encourage you to apply! If you are a 0-to-1 achiever, a ferocious learner, and a kind and fun team player who motivates others, you will find a home at TwelveLabs. We welcome applicants from all walks of life and are committed to equal-opportunity employment. We cherish and celebrate diversity not just because it is the right thing to do, but because it makes our company much stronger. ## **Benefits and Perks** - *Pension (in line with company auto-enrollment obligations)* - *Private medical insurance* - *PTO - 25 days with 8 holidays (You may carry forward up to [five] days’ accrued but untaken holiday from one holiday year to the following holiday year, but such carried over holiday must be taken by [31 March] of that following holiday year or it will be lost.)* - *Sick Days - 5* - *We are reviewing our UK benefits offering. We intend to introduce further benefits, such as income protection and life insurance, at some point in the future, as we grow and expand in the UK.* If someone contacted you about this role and you’d like to verify they’re a member of our team, please email [careers@twelvelabs.io](mailto:careers@twelvelabs.io)
