The role also involves clinical leadership, supervision of junior medical staff, participation in teaching, and ongoing involvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting service delivery across the broader health network, with potential involvement across multiple regional sites.About the Department:The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department is a busy regional service supporting a diverse and growing population, with a strong focus on safe, patient-centred maternity and women’s health care. The team works collaboratively across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings, managing a broad mix of general and higher-risk obstetric cases alongside gynaecological services. There is an established culture of teaching and mentoring, with regular involvement in training junior doctors and medical students. The department is committed to continuous quality improvement, clinical governance, and maintaining high standards of care.
