Job description
To be eligible for Pomerleau’s internship program, you must meet the following criteria: • Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship. • Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship. • Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date. What you will do • Lead the comprehensive bid process with a commitment to precision and excellence. • Employ research expertise to identify project-specific pricing for labor, equipment, and materials. • Skillfully interpret technical specifications for accurate and meticulous bidding. • Execute thorough quantity take-offs, guaranteeing precision in contract specifications and pricing. • Foster a client-centric approach, aligning proposed bids with project feasibility. • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients. • Provide valuable assistance to the team, actively contributing to a collaborative office environment. This role could be for you if you have • Must be currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Qualities such as versatile, curious, meticulous, and eager to actively participate. • Passion for the construction industry.
