Through our subsidiaries, Moniepoint Inc. processes over $250 billion in digital payment transaction value annually. **Job Title: State Inventory Officer** **Reports to: State Coordinator** **Employment Type: Outsourced** **Work Mode: Onsite** **About this role:** The State Inventory Officer is responsible for managing the inventory of POS devices across the region, ensuring accurate tracking, secure storage, and efficient distribution. This role plays a critical part in operational success by validating serial numbers, monitoring stock levels, resolving inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless supply chain execution. **Responsibilities:** - **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of POS devices, including stock levels, locations, and serial numbers; monitor inventory to identify stock shortages and coordinate timely replenishment; conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with logical inventory. - **Serial Validation:** Verify serial number accuracy for all received POS devices against corresponding records, promptly communicate discrepancies to relevant stakeholders, execute corrective actions, and maintain detailed documentation. - **Discrepancy Management:** Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and logical inventory, implementing corrective measures to prevent future errors and improve overall accuracy. - **Collaboration & Communication:** Partner with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory operations and communicate inventory status, availability, and concerns effectively with internal stakeholders. - **Additional Duties:** Perform additional operational tasks as delegated and assigned by the State Coordinator. **Experience & Background:** - OND/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. - Proven, similar experience in inventory management or related operational roles. **Skills & Competencies:** - **Analytical & Problem-Solving:** Strong capability to reconcile inventory discrepancies and identify process improvements. - **Technical Proficiency:** Skilled in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications. - **Detail Orientation:** Exceptional accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and serial tracking. - **Organization & Time Management:** Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple operational demands, and meet deadlines. - **Communication:** Effective written and verbal communication skills across teams. **What Success Looks Like in This Role:** - 100% accuracy in POS device serial tracking and inventory records. - Zero downtime in distribution caused by unmanaged stock shortages. - Rapid, thorough resolution of physical vs. logical inventory discrepancies. - Seamless alignment and clear communication with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams. **Why Join Us?** - Competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities. - Vibrant work culture and support for continuous professional development.
